A million thanks
And a statement...
This year has been quite hard for us, French folks. It was thus a truly bliss to see that you were as many as last year to enjoy our events (maybe even more). It was delightful to see all of you, the student, the banker, the old IDM fan, the unemployed, the new bachelor, the queer community, the young parents, the dancer, the nanny, the refugee, the indie pop lover, the punk, the City counselor ... being so diverse but being part of the same event.
We truly think we, as entertainers, need to cherish this popular aspect of our events. The new frontier is not to be more cutting edge, more avant garde, more nerdy, but really popular. Our new adventure is to be able to reach diverse audiences while staying true to our niche DNA. Becoming one of the most quality popular event. Not the biggest one, nor the most famous, but the one where an eclectic audience merge to celebrate a fucked-up lineup.
Stay strong. Stay curious. And we’ll build together a more open-minded society.
